Dr. Blake Essner, DDS

Dr. Blake Essner was born and raised in Kelso, Missouri. After graduating from Notre Dame Regional High School in 2005, he attended Southeast Missouri State University where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Science with a minor in Chemistry. He then moved on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2014. After dental school, Dr. Blake and his wife Christina moved back to Southeast Missouri where he practiced Dentistry at a Federally Qualified Health Center for a year before joining Bennett Family Dentistry in April of 2015.

Dr. Blake was excited to join Bennett Family Dentistry where he has been a patient himself for over 20 years. He is very passionate about both preventative and cosmetic dentistry, and his favorite part about his job is synergizing dentistry, artistry, and modern technology to give patients the smile they’ve always wanted. He strives to do high quality work while maximizing patient comfort and promoting a positive dental experience.

He has recently served as both President of the Southeast Regional Dental society as well as the Cape Dental Study Club.

Dr. Blake is an avid outdoorsman. He enjoys hunting, fishing, snow skiing, playing softball, and most importantly spending time with his wife and two children.
