Dr. Ashley Mills, a native of Kansas City, Missouri, moved to Cape Girardeau in 2013, with her husband, Trevor and their three daughters, Kate, Nora, and Lenna. She enjoys weekends at Kentucky Lake, cooking, traveling, fitness, and volunteer work. Dr. Ashley Mills graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2004. She worked as a hygienist for two years in a busy general practice in North Kansas City. Her love for learning and expanding her knowledge in the dental field led her to begin dental school in 2006, at the University of Missouri Kansas City. She was a teaching assistant in her dental operative and local anesthesia courses and was selected to participate in a periodontal honors program during her time at UMKC. She was published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics her fourth year of dental school, highlighting research she had completed on Cone- beam tomography and intraoral digital radiography for assessment of tooth root lesions.

Upon completion of her doctorate degree, Dr. Ashley Mills and her husband moved to Baltimore, Maryland where she worked as a general dentist in several different private practices while her husband completed a residency in Endodontics. During her three years in Baltimore, she invested in extensive training at the Spear Education Center on treatment planning, occlusion, full mouth rehab cases, and esthetic dentistry. She strives to bring these areas of expertise into her daily practice by merging function and esthetics to provide the best possible outcome for patients.

Dr. Ashley Mills enjoys serving the people of Southeast Missouri through her passion for dentistry and her desire to provide a caring environment. She continued her training in esthetic dentistry, and was published in a dental esthetics journal in 2017, highlighting a full mouth rehab case that she completed. She saw a need to extend her treatment to include Botox. In 2018, she became certified through the American Association of Facial Esthetics. She now offers Botox therapy for TMJ Syndrome, headaches, facial pain, hyperplastic lip lines, and total facial esthetics to compliment an attractive smile.

Dr. Ashley Mills is a member of the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, American Academy of Facial Esthetics, and Southeast Dental Society.
